Dumping & Installing Games to emuMMC

This section of the guide will walk you through dumping your games, updates, and DLC for use with an emuMMC.

Note

You might not need every single section of this guide, depending on what type of game you want to dump and install to your emuMMC. For example, if you want to dump a title you own on the eShop, you would skip the gamecard steps.

Preparation Work

Basic Prerequisite:

  • The latest release of fs-patch (fs-patch.zip).

Setup:

  1. Extract the contents of the fs-patch.zip file to the root of your SD card, and doing the following based on your operating system:
    • Windows & Linux: If you're on Windows or Linux, you can just select replace.
    • macOS: If you're using macOS, make sure you select merge instead of replace.

Danger

The following steps will cause a BAN if you haven't properly blocked Nintendo servers on your emuMMC. Confirm DNSMITM is setup correctly on your emuMMC before proceeding. You can find instructions to do so here. Do not (try to) install anything via unofficial means (including any dumps) to your sysMMC, as that will also result in a ban!
