Dumping & Installing Games to emuMMC

This section of the guide will walk you through dumping your games, updates, and dlc for use with an emuMMC.

Note

You might not need every single section of this guide, depending on what type of game you want to dump and install to your emuMMC. For example, if you want to dump a title you own on the eShop, you would skip the gamecard steps.

Dumping Your Games

  1. Launch SysCFW via Hekate. If you followed our guide for CFW setup, this is the Atmosphere FSS0 sysMMC button.
  2. Launch HBMenu and open NXDumpTool (nxdt_rw_poc).
  3. Select user titles menu.
  4. Find the game you want to dump and select it.
  5. Select nsp dump options --> dump base application
  6. Enable nca/tik: remove titlekey crypto. Failure to do so will cause error 2145-0001 (ES) in Goldleaf when installing.
  7. Select start nsp dump
  8. Dumping will begin. You can find the dumped nsp in /nxdt_rw_poc/NSP on your SD card.
  9. Once the process is complete, click + to exit NXDumpTool.

  2. Launch HBMenu and open NXDumpTool (nxdt_rw_poc).
  3. Select user titles menu.
  4. Find the game you want to dump and select it.
  5. Select nsp dump options
  6. Select dump update to dump an update, or dump dlc to dump DLC for the game.
  7. If dumping DLC, press L/ZL or R/ZR to change the selected DLC title to dump.
  8. Enable nca/tik: remove titlekey crypto. Failure to do so will cause error 2145-0001 (ES) in Goldleaf when installing.
  9. Select start nsp dump
  10. Dumping will begin. You can find the dumped nsp in /nxdt_rw_poc/NSP on your SD card.
  11. Once the process is complete, click + to exit NXDumpTool.

Installing | Prep work

Basic Prerequisites:

Setup:

  1. Copy the downloaded patches.ini to /bootloader on your SD card.
  2. Copy the downloaded hekate_ipl.ini to /bootloader on your SD card, replacing the existing file.
    • If you are transferring these files via Hekate UMS navigate to the home screen and press Reload.

Note Regarding Fusee

You cannot use Fusee for this. It cannot load these patches or anything similar to them.

Danger

The following steps will cause a BAN if you haven't properly blocked Nintendo servers on your emuMMC. Confirm dnsmitm is setup correctly on your emuMMC before proceeding. You can find instructions to do so here. Do not install anything via unofficial means (including any dumps) to your sysMMC, as that will also cause a ban!
